Charge Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care as part of the patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. They serve as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, assess, and evaluate patient conditions, assisting with care planning and executing care plans with independent judgment.
  • Coordinate patient care to promote optimal outcomes, ensuring documentation of assessments, interventions, and incidents.
  • Advocate for patient and family needs, providing education and maintaining effective communication to enhance satisfaction.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, offering ideas for process enhancements and supporting organizational goals.
  • Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and engage in ongoing education and development.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and adhering to professional standards, confidentiality, and safety policies.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Valid RN license; multi-state license or single-state license accepted.
  • Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire.
