Role Overview:
Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts. Provides clinical care as needed based on patient census. Acts as a resource for staff guidance, communication of patient care, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure quality nursing care for diverse patient populations
– Address operational challenges during shifts
– Communicate effectively with staff and leadership
– Support and guide nursing staff in clinical practices
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduate of a nursing program; Bachelor’s preferred
– Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
– Valid RN license and multistate licensure
– BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PEARS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certifications
– Additional specialty certifications as applicable
– Strong communication, clinical, and leadership skills
