Charge Nurse – ICU, Nights

This role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care across all patient age groups, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical care as needed based on census demands. The nurse serves as a resource for staff guidance, communicates patient and departmental concerns to leadership, and ensures effective care planning and execution.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program (bachelor’s preferred), at least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ preferred), and valid RN licensure with relevant certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy/biotherapy, and specialized certifications depending on the unit. Additional training in fetal monitoring, emergency response, and pediatric or specialty certifications are required within specified timeframes. The role emphasizes ethical practice, diversity and inclusion, evidence-based care, safety, and collaboration to promote optimal patient outcomes.
