Role Overview:
Seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to support intraoperative procedures in a main operating room setting.
Responsibilities include performing scrub duties, preparing and dispensing instruments and supplies, conducting instrument, needle, sharps, and sponge counts, handling specimens, assisting with dressings, moving patients, and maintaining OR inventory.
The position involves working Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week, with an on-call rotation required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate from an approved Surgical Technologist program or minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Current CPR certification; CST certification is highly preferred.
Key Duties:
- Support surgical team during procedures, ensuring proper instrument handling and patient safety.
- Assist with preparation, sterilization, and reprocessing of surgical tools.
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation throughout shifts.
