Role Overview: A full-time Certified Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing patient respiratory needs, planning and delivering treatments, and collaborating with the care team.
Key Responsibilities: Performing patient assessments, establishing care plans, administering therapies such as aerosolized medications, oxygen, and airway management, and managing mechanical ventilators. Providing patient and family education, assisting with intra-hospital transport, and supporting emergent airway situations. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, collecting blood samples, and aiding in invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and line placement.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of Specialty Training Program, proficiency in evidence-based practices, strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience with advanced respiratory equipment.
