Provides medical evaluations for suspected child abuse victims as part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Executive Director.
Requires a Certified Nurse Practitioner license with preferred specialized training in child abuse.
At least one year of pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
Performs examinations, takes histories, documents findings, obtains labs, and prepares detailed reports.
Collaborates with professionals locally and externally, ensuring accurate communication and follow-up planning.
Participates in peer review, training, and quality assurance activities, seeking ongoing education and consultation.
