Certified Medical Technologist/CLS – Full-Time – Night

Role Overview:
Perform clinical laboratory testing under supervision, ensuring accuracy and quality assurance. Maintain equipment, records, and follow established protocols, exercising independent judgment. May supervise and teach laboratory staff, contributing to performance improvements and inspection readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure correct patient/specimen identification and accurate test reporting within turnaround times.

Analyze, interpret, and report lab data, recognizing its clinical relevance.

Monitor and document quality assurance activities, handle troubleshooting, and investigate discrepancies.

Maintain equipment and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Participate in performance improvement initiatives, procedure development, and team meetings.

Stay current with training, policies, and procedures, including LIS and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Certifications: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire.
Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
Proficiency in computer/data entry, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
