Caregiver (Personal Care Assistant)

Role Overview

The position involves providing hands-on support to seniors, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. The caregiver follows Individualized Service Plans (ISP), documents changes, and promotes safety, dignity, and independence. Engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment are essential responsibilities. In Memory Care, creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss is also part of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED; 18+ age requirement
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
  • Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

The role offers paid training and opportunities for career growth. Compensation ranges from $19.95 to $24.95 per hour.
