Role: Lead Caregiver, responsible for supervising and supporting caregiving staff while delivering exceptional resident care in a senior living setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Coach and mentor caregiving team on quality standards, documentation, and hospitality.
- Review charting and ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Monitor resident condition changes and communicate concerns promptly.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Promote safety, compliance, and effective shift transitions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+.
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
- Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.
