Role: Lead Caregiver, responsible for supervising and supporting caregiving staff in providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents in a senior living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to ensure consistent resident care.
- Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as needed.
- Coach and mentor caregivers on care quality, documentation, and hospitality standards.
- Review charting to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Monitor resident health changes and communicate concerns promptly.
- Support onboarding of new team members and promote a safe, compliant environment.
- Model professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service as both a caregiver and frontline leader.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED and 18+ years of age.
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
- Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.
