Caregiver Role Overview
As a Caregiver, your primary responsibilities include providing hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, while following individualized service plans (ISP) and documenting any changes.
You will promote safety, dignity, and independence by engaging residents through conversation and activities, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care settings, you’ll create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
Key qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain, and compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.
This role involves building meaningful relationships, ensuring resident well-being, and collaborating with families and care teams.
