Caregiver Role Overview

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by providing
hands-on support and fostering meaningful relationships. Your responsibilities include assisting with
activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, while following
individualized service plans (ISP) and documenting any changes. You will promote safety, dignity,
and independence, engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining services, and
maintain a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care, you will create enriching experiences for
residents with memory loss.

**Qualifications include:**
• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and effective communication skills
