Caregiver Role Overview
The Caregiver provides essential hands-on support to seniors, fostering meaningful relationships and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following individualized service plans and documenting changes.
Promotes safety, dignity, and independence, engages residents through conversation and activities, supports dining services, and maintains a clean, welcoming environment.
In Memory Care, creates enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, strong communication skills
Key Duties:
Providing personal care, supporting residents’ independence, promoting safety, engaging residents, and collaborating with families and care teams.
