Role Overview
The caregiver provides compassionate, hands-on support to seniors, fostering dignity and independence while building meaningful relationships. Key responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and documenting changes.
They promote safety, respect, and engagement by supporting residents’ daily activities and dining needs, creating a welcoming environment, and effectively communicating with families and care team members. In Memory Care, they design enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Key Duties:
- Providing personal care and support as outlined in care plans
- Promoting residents’ safety, dignity, and independence
- Engaging residents through conversation and activities
- Supporting dining services and maintaining a clean environment
- Communicating effectively with families and care leaders
- Creating meaningful experiences in Memory Care
