Lead Caregiver
Role Overview: Serve as a shift leader in senior care, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as needed.
- Coach caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation practices.
- Review charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Monitor resident health changes and communicate concerns promptly.
- Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
- Promote safety, compliance, and effective shift transitions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
- Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred
