Role Overview

The Caregiver provides hands-on support to senior residents, fostering their quality of life through compassionate assistance and meaningful engagement. They assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following individualized service plans (ISP) and documenting any changes. Promoting safety, dignity, and independence is essential, along with engaging residents through conversation and activities. In Memory Care, they create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Effective communication with families and care team members is a key duty.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and support their independence
• Follow care plans and document changes accurately
• Promote safety, dignity, and engagement in daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean environment
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care staff
• In Memory Care, develop enriching experiences for residents with memory loss
