Role Overview
The Caregiver provides essential hands-on support to residents, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through personalized care and meaningful interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
- Follow and document changes in Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
- Promote safety, dignity, and independence
- Engage residents with conversation and activities to foster well-being
- Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members
- Create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss in Memory Care settings
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
