Lead Caregiver – Senior Care Leadership
The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in a senior living environment, ensuring exceptional resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team. Responsibilities include
leading shift assignments, managing attendance, and coordinating coverage providing hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) coaching caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards reviewing charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP) monitoring resident changes and communicating concerns promptly supporting onboarding and mentoring new team members promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma/GED, holds
CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications, and demonstrates
strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills. Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred. This role combines hands-on caregiving with frontline leadership, modeling professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.
