Lead Caregiver

As a Lead Caregiver, you serve as a shift leader, ensuring exceptional resident care and supporting the caregiving team. Your responsibilities include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, coordinating coverage, providing hands-on ADL support, and reviewing charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP). You will monitor resident changes, communicate concerns promptly, and support onboarding and mentoring new team members. Promoting safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions are key duties. This role requires you to be both a working caregiver and a frontline leader, modeling professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications. Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills are essential. Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred.
