Role Overview

The caregiver provides hands-on support to seniors, promoting their safety, dignity, and independence while building meaningful relationships. Key responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, following individualized service plans (ISP), and documenting any changes. They engage residents through conversation and activities, support dining services, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. In Memory Care settings, they create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Effective communication with families and care teams is essential.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED; 18+ years old
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, strong communication skills

Key Duties

• Assist residents with ADLs and personal care
• Follow and document ISP updates
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through activities and conversation
• Support dining services and maintain a clean environment

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $17.20 – $21.55 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability plans, retirement savings, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and flexible pay options. Bonuses may also be offered based on performance and eligibility.
