Role Overview
The Caregiver provides hands-on support to senior residents, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through personalized care and meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
- Following Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and documenting any changes
- Promoting safety, dignity, and independence for residents
- Engaging residents through conversation and activities to foster well-being
- Supporting dining services and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
- Communicating effectively with families and care team members
- Creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss in Memory Care settings
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication abilities
