Role Overview

The Caregiver provides vital hands-on support to seniors, promoting their quality of life through assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
Following Individualized Service Plans (ISP), the caregiver documents changes, promotes safety, dignity, and independence, and engages residents in conversations and activities to foster meaningful connections.
In Memory Care, the role involves creating enriching experiences for residents with memory loss, supporting dining services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs, promoting safety and independence
• Follow and document care plans accurately
• Engage residents through conversation and activities
• Support dining and maintain cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with families and care team members
• Create enriching experiences in Memory Care settings
