Role: Cardiovascular Tech RCIS responsible for supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision.
Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians during procedures as a scrub tech and monitor tech, operate imaging equipment, interpret EKGs and pressures, prepare and clean the cath lab, ensure patient safety, and manage supplies.
Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or relevant experience. Certifications include AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support and RCIS (to be obtained within 18 months) or ARRT and TX RT(R).
Skills & Knowledge: Ability to assist with procedures, interpret dysrhythmias, maintain sterile technique, troubleshoot equipment, and demonstrate knowledge of medications and safety protocols.
Additional Duties: Assist in training staff and students, ensure proper inventory management, and support patient transport and preparation.
