Role: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA)
Responsibilities: Provide inpatient care by rounding in the ICU, managing pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients, and supporting surgical teams. Cover day and night shifts with no call requirements.
Qualifications & Skills: Active Texas license, DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required. Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred.
Key Duties: Ensure timely credentialing (5-7 days), assist in intensive care management, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
Additional Information: Work schedule includes 7a-7p and 7p-7a, 7 days a week, with no call. The facility is located in a family-friendly community with a healthcare-focused economy.
