The Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist position in Greenville, NC offers full-time, exempt employment with potential partnership and a signing bonus.
Providing anesthesia for cardiac surgeries including CABG, valves, TAVRs, LVADs, and ECMO, excluding transplants. Supervising and collaborating with surgical teams and anesthesia staff, including nurse anesthetists and residents. Conducting patient evaluations, developing anesthesia plans, and monitoring during and post-surgery to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. Performing procedures such as venous/arterial punctures, airway management, and post-op assessments. Requiring MD/DO, board certification or eligibility, cardiothoracic fellowship, NC license, and 3+ years of high-acuity anesthesia experience.
