Role: Intensivist with a strong cardiac focus or a cardiologist with critical care experience/training to serve on the Cardiac ICU team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care for complex cardiovascular patients.
- Manage pre- and postoperative care for cardiac patients.
- Support patients requiring advanced therapies including transplant and VAD care.
- Provide care for patients supported with ECMO.
- Treat and manage cardiogenic shock.
- Perform relevant procedures and support clinical care in the ICU.
- Educate and mentor trainees and advanced practitioners.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong background in cardiology and/or critical care.
- Demonstrated training or experience caring for critically ill cardiovascular patients.
- Proficiency with advanced cardiac critical care therapies (e.g., VAD, ECMO).
- Ability to provide procedural care and contribute to education.
