Position: Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $33.35 – $51.69/hour, based on experience

Role Overview: Under general supervision, performs 2D echocardiograms, Doppler, stress echocardiograms, and assists with transesophageal echocardiograms. Collects patient data for physician interpretation, explains procedures to patients, and provides excellent customer service. Handles complex cases and mentors students.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI within 12 months; current CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross.
Skills & Responsibilities: Operates ultrasound equipment to obtain cardiac images, assists physicians, precepts students, and ensures quality patient care. Participates in professional development and maintains certification standards.
