Registered Cardiac Sonographer
Perform diagnostic echocardiography exams using 2D imaging, Doppler, and color flow studies to help evaluate and support treatment decisions for cardiovascular conditions. Deliver patient-centered care by ensuring comfort and safety, and provide education during exams.
Key responsibilities:
- Optimize ultrasound image quality and complete accurate exam performance.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Document exam findings in the EMR.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as needed.
- Follow regulatory requirements and infection-control standards.
Qualifications & skills:
- Registered cardiac sonography credentials.
- Strong knowledge of echocardiography techniques (2D, Doppler, color flow).
- Excellent patient communication, safety focus, and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-focused environment.
