Cardiac PCU – Clinical RN (Days or Nights)

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care for high-acuity cardiology patients, including managing acute conditions, titrating high-risk drips, and caring for those with heart failure, post-transplant, or requiring telemetry. The role emphasizes critical thinking, clinical expertise, and patient-centered care, with responsibilities such as assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on illness management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote safe, quality, and family-centered care while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and document care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain certification requirements.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Licensure: Active RN license; ACLS certification within one year.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
