Cardiac Diagnostic Lab Registered Nurse

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Diagnostic Lab, supporting non-invasive diagnostic services such as echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors, and EKG processing. The RN is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness as an essential requirement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Current RN license; 2+ years of cardiac or critical care experience preferred.
  • BLS/ACLS certification required or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Accepts ADN/BSN/MSN candidates with specific requirements.
