Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with catheterization procedures by preparing, positioning, and supporting sterile workflow.
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment to support accurate diagnostics.
- Scrub and/or circulate in the procedure room as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety and sterile technique.
- Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians as a member of the procedural team.
- Document procedures and patient-related information accurately in hospital systems.
- Respond effectively to emergencies in the lab setting.
- Contribute to continuous learning, innovation, and patient-centered care.
