Cardiac Cath Lab/Vascular Radiology Technologist (Imaging)

Role Overview:

This is a full-time position for an Advanced Modality – Cath Lab/Vascular Radiology Technologist (Imaging) responsible for supporting cardiovascular procedures with opportunities for cross-training in Cardiac and Vascular techniques. The role involves providing imaging support using state-of-the-art Siemens equipment, assisting in the Cath Lab by monitoring patient vitals, preparing sterile fields, and collaborating with healthcare providers. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently or in on-call situations, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
  • Perform imaging studies across various modalities, including portable exams and specialized site procedures
  • Support in vascular procedures, utilizing hybrid OR fluoroscopy
  • Monitor patient status, manage sedation, and ensure safety during procedures
  • Assist with sterile technique and work closely with medical teams
  • Cross-train for scrubbing and support clinical needs
  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
    • Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) certification
    • Experience not required; new grads and experienced technologists are encouraged to apply
    • Preferred certifications include MRI, CT, RT, and others; experience in cardiovascular or interventional radiology is advantageous
    • CPR, intravenous therapy, and relevant licensure preferred
