Role Overview:
This position involves managing patient care, personnel, and equipment in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment. The role requires coordinating staff hiring, training, performance evaluation, and ensuring departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals. Responsibilities include developing staffing plans, managing budgets, overseeing patient care based on assessments and medical plans, and ensuring compliance with policies. The nurse manager also handles staff scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN accepted)
- RN licensure
- 2-5 years of relevant experience; 5-10 years preferred
- Supervisory experience is advantageous
- Preferred experience in Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology Labs; procedural or critical care nursing background
- Required certifications: BLS/ACLS (or obtained within 90 days)
