Seeking a compassionate RN or GN for a Burn Unit, providing specialized care to burn and critical wound patients in a high-acuity environment.
Key duties
- Perform patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and manage complex care needs
- Conduct advanced dressing changes and wound care
- Manage pain and support infection prevention
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery
- Provide patient and family education and support care goals
- Document care accurately in the EHR
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives
Qualifications & skills
- Current RN or GN licensure
- Strong clinical judgment in critical care settings
- Competence with medication administration and complex wound care
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented documentation and commitment to patient safety
