Seeking a compassionate RN or GN for a 7H Burn Unit, providing specialized, high-acuity care to burn and critical wound patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and manage complex care needs
- Provide complex burn and wound dressing changes and treatments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage pain and prevent infection
- Support patient recovery through individualized care planning
- Educate patients and families on care and treatment
- Document accurately in the EHR and follow safety/quality standards
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN or GN licensure/eligibility
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to care for high-acuity patients
- Expertise in medication administration and wound/burn dressing procedures
- Excellent communication and patient/family education skills
- Detail-oriented documentation skills in an electronic health record
- Team-oriented, compassionate approach with commitment to continuous learning
