Seeking Board Certified Radiologists for on-site support at the VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC.
Physicians will deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology care to veterans, covering specialties such as Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General Radiology, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, and Neuroradiology.
Requirements include an active U.S. medical license, BLS & ACLS certifications, and ABR board certification. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in diagnostic imaging modalities and maintain ongoing education.
Key duties involve performing and interpreting imaging procedures, consulting, reviewing cases, communicating results, and ensuring compliance with VA policies (95% clinical, 5% administrative).
Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with on-call coverage evenings and weekends. On-call physicians must respond within 15 minutes by phone and be onsite within 60 minutes.
