Seeking Board Certified Radiologists for on-site roles at the VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology care to veterans, with specialties such as Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology, and AU Radiology.
Requirements: active U.S. medical license, BLS & ACLS, ABR certification, and proficiency in diagnostic imaging modalities.
Key duties involve performing and interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and IR procedures, consulting with physicians, reviewing cases, and ensuring compliance with VA standards. Administrative tasks include participation in quality improvement activities and peer reviews.
Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with on-call coverage evenings and weekends. On-call physicians must respond within 15 minutes by phone and be on-site within 60 minutes.
