Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health) – PRN
Provide and document safe, patient-centered nursing care for behavioral health patients. Key duties include assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring for changes in condition, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to support patients during crises and help maintain a safe, secure environment.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Behavioral health experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Effective therapeutic communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient safety, compassion, and continuous improvement
