Automotive Technician

Role Overview: The Junior Automotive Technician performs basic automotive diagnostics and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, and light vehicle maintenance such as brakes, suspension, and alignments.

Responsibilities: Conduct mechanical repairs based on experience, handle tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and rotation. Perform oil and fluid changes, power flushes, and document vehicle conditions using multi-point inspections and repair orders. Conduct safety and emissions inspections where applicable, adhere to safety protocols, and follow company policies.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience, proficiency with diagnostic equipment, a valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical & Work Environment: Ability to stand for long periods, perform bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 70 pounds. Work involves exposure to loud noises, fumes, and hazardous materials. Use of PPE may be required. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
