Role Overview: Responsible for delivering patient-oriented service in clinical or front office settings, performing clerical and administrative duties to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and processing paperwork. Entering and verifying patient data in computer systems, coordinating referrals, pre-authorizations, and benefits. Responding to patient inquiries with compassion, generating reports, and maintaining registration requirements across various departments. Scheduling appointments and ensuring accurate documentation. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma/GED; 1+ year experience in healthcare, customer service, or office setting. Proficiency in typing, basic math, and familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible shifts within a 24/7 schedule, standing for long periods, and reliable transportation.
