Role Overview:
This position supports patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and data collection within the Operating Room. The role involves managing staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and ensuring departmental productivity aligns with operational goals. Responsibilities include developing staffing plans, overseeing patient care based on assessments and medical treatments, and maintaining compliance with policies. The role also entails managing payroll processes, staff communication, and performance reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN required)
- 2-5 years of experience; preferred 5-10 years
- Supervisory experience: none required initially; preferred 2+ years
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness
Key Duties:
- Manage staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development
- Develop and adhere to staffing, revenue, and expense budgets
- Coordinate patient care and ensure documentation compliance
- Oversee daily staffing, scheduling, payroll, and staff communication
- Support departmental operational goals and ensure safety standards
