Role Overview:
This position involves leading a newly established multidisciplinary ICU, supporting daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high standards of patient care. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) serves as a clinical leader, mentor, and resource, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Assist in developing departmental staffing, budgeting, and ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Oversee patient care, ensure collaborative care planning, and document treatments.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, payroll, and communication; assign nursing duties and recommend salary adjustments.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement corrective actions; ensure departmental productivity and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and RN licensure.
- Experience: 2-5 years, with leadership experience preferred; MSN is a plus.
- Critical care experience required; leadership experience is desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
