Role Overview: This position involves managing nursing staff in interventional radiology and radiation oncology, including RN’s, Nurse Navigators, and Nurse Coordinators.
Responsibilities:
Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate staff to ensure departmental productivity and compliance with operational goals. Coordinate patient care, develop collaborative care plans, and ensure documentation adherence. Manage staffing, payroll, and performance reviews, including disciplinary actions and performance improvements. Assist in departmental budgeting, resource allocation, and responding to business needs. Maintain equipment and oversee maintenance and supply management. Ensure quality patient care tailored to patient age and needs. Qualifications & Skills: RN license with a BSN required; 2-5 years nursing experience with supervisory experience preferred. Additional preferred: radiology experience and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing with 5-10 years of experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
