Assistant Nurse Manager – Interventional Radiology

Role Overview: This position involves managing nursing staff in interventional radiology and radiation oncology, including RN’s, Nurse Navigators, and Nurse Coordinators.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate staff to ensure departmental productivity and compliance with operational goals.
  • Coordinate patient care, develop collaborative care plans, and ensure documentation adherence.
  • Manage staffing, payroll, and performance reviews, including disciplinary actions and performance improvements.
  • Assist in departmental budgeting, resource allocation, and responding to business needs.
  • Maintain equipment and oversee maintenance and supply management.
  • Ensure quality patient care tailored to patient age and needs.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • RN license with a BSN required; 2-5 years nursing experience with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Additional preferred: radiology experience and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

  • Key Duties: Staff management, patient care coordination, operational oversight, and compliance with policies to support department objectives.
