Role Overview:
Providing direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner within established protocols, policies, and standards of care, functioning within approved scope and credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct accurate assessments, evaluations, and treatments for patients aged six months to geriatric.
– Interpret electrocardiogram and lab test results.
– Manage chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
– Promote disease prevention through risk assessment, coaching, and counseling.
– Complete Medicare Wellness physicals per policies and guidelines.
– Handle emergent medical situations effectively.
– Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare team.
– Perform duties at various primary care locations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
– 2-4 years’ experience, preferably in Family Medicine.
– Valid, unrestricted NP or PA license; board certification (FNP, AGNP, or PA-C).
– BLS and ACLS certifications.
– DEA registration if prescribing medications.
– Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
– Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
