This position involves providing direct patient care on a 26-bed acute care medicine unit, managing patients with diverse clinical conditions including med-surg and occasional trach care. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include patient and family education, promoting a healing environment, and participating in professional development activities. The role emphasizes working within standards of nursing care, addressing physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs, and maintaining safety-sensitive practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
