Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in activities promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient status and ensure effective communication across care teams.
- Contribute to a healing environment through patient education and safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license; no prior experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
