Role Overview:
This position involves providing high-quality care to patients with acute medical conditions, working closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment. The nurse promotes patient-centered care, educates patients and families on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and professional development activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors
- Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Educating patients on post-treatment care and medication management
- Participating in multidisciplinary teamwork supported by case managers, social workers, and other professionals
Qualifications & Skills:
- Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness
