Role Overview
This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Licensure as an RN is required; no prior experience necessary, but two years of experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential.
