Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from complex surgical procedures in an acute care setting. Use the nursing process and evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and quality outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive care.
Key duties:
- Deliver bedside nursing care for postoperative patients, monitoring condition and response to treatment.
- Implement nursing assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation to guide care.
- Apply evidence-based practices to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Support quality and safety standards on the unit.
